Shia started his acting career as an energetic adolescent on the popular TV series for the kids', 'Even Stevens' produced and aired from 2000-03 on the Disney Channel. His flair for comedy was evident from the beginning, while his quick wit and offbeat charm helped him gather a large fan base consisting mainly of teenagers while furthering his appeal in showbiz. And soon enough, as usually happens with talents TV actors, the natural progression to films saw Shia win critical applause for features such as 'Holes' (2003) and 'The Greatest Game Ever Played' (2004).
